Study by these 16 student participants focused on a broad interdisciplinary introduction to the history, language, culture and politics of this Southeast Asian country. During the first and longest component, the program is located in Ho Chi Minh City where the students will be immersed in extensive language study and introductory course work. A final segment of the program is offered in Hanoi, the contemporary seat of the government.
