Remembering Beagle Bailey (test post)

August 5, 2018 By James Proctor

For those of you who did not know me or our family before spring 2014, you haven’t yet met Joy and Elise’s four-legged brother, Beagle Bailey, who would have turned 18 this summer! Beagle Bailey rode with me every day to work (in a bike trailer called, um, a Tail Wagon), and basically was my fellow mammal for fourteen years. I’m not at all surprised to see plenty of beagles in Portland these days: maybe they’re not obedience stars, but they sure are loving.

…So actually, this post is a continued attempt to check/fix the connection between my Words site and new consolidated Facebook page (facebook.com/jimproctorpdx). Facebook now disallows posting from WordPress to profiles…one must post to a page, thus the consolidation to my page. Let’s see if it works when I click Publish.

And Beagle Bailey, know that we still think of you every day, just like any lucky dog person out there would do.
