The weather our second weekend in Berlin was spectacular. It was between 75-80 degrees fahrenheit, and absolutely beautiful. Wannsee is a lake located on the edge of Berlin near Potsdam. We (my self and two friends who came to Berlin on the program as well) headed out on the morning of the Sunday the 13th of September towards the lake. It is a 45 minuet train ride from the Friedrich Strasse station in center of Berlin, but we got lost on the way there and it ended up taking us longer. A ten minute walk through some sort of beautiful pine forest led to the entrance to the lake park. The park reminded me of being on the beach there was fine sand on the shore and little cabana type chairs to sit in all alone beach. The best part however was the water slide in the middle of the lake. Swimming out to it and going down it, had to be the best part of my day.
