My favorite city I visited over fall break would be Budapest, Hungary. I didn’t know much about Budapest to be honest, but this all meant that there was lots to learn. I learned thatBudapest has a lot of Turkish influence since it was considered Turkish territory in the 16th-18th century. Turkish food and bath houses “Hamam” were popular tourist attractions in the city. The highlight of the trip was Castle Hill. Located in the Buda (west) side of the city, Castle Hill consists of old town where commoners lived in the Middle Ages, and a royal castle now holding two national museums. I was amazed by the scenery and the history of this city, leaving me wanting to come back in the future.
