We had spring ‘holidays’ this week and it couldn’t come sooner. While I’ve been enjoying my internship at Envision and learning a lot in all of my classes, it was a breath of fresh air to be able to relax and sleep in a bit. My boyfriend was able to fly in, so we went around London and did all the touristy things I was too embarrassed to do otherwise. Acting like a tourist in the place you’re living is an odd, but wonderful fun. During break we also made it over to Dublin. Although my friends on the Dublin program were out of town on break as well, their suggestions made the trip well worth it. Hiking in Howth, Irish stew in pubs, and new friends from England, France, and Brazil were all highlights of the trip. While I was sad to leave and start classes again, it was a well appreciated trip.
