This trip didn’t start to feel real until I bought my ticket a week ago. But here we are, about to get our visa’s and the trip is a mere 2 months away!! Woahhhh. Getting stoked over here, lets go. Its an exciting time to be us
Conservationist Island
One place that I am most looking forward to possibly seeing is the Tiritiri Matangi Island which is a conservationist project island in the North Island. It’s an open sanctuary for both terrestrial and marine life that is centered around conservation efforts for endangered animals in New Zealand.
Exciting times
I’m looking forward to being outdoors and seeing glaciers. I’m excited about seeing and studying some of the cool plants and animals we have already read about as well as learning about new ones! I’m nervous about being in a different country, so far from home.
New Zealand Trip
Although I am obviously looking forward to experiencing the physical beauty of New Zealand, reading about the evolutionary history of the flora and fauna of New Zealand has made me excited to learn more about its unique ecosystems and how they came to be.
