Ireland

Focused in Dublin, program participants will concentrate on the history, literature, theatre, and contemporary social issues of Ireland. Students will focus on relevant social and economic questions through classes, lectures, group discussions, field trips, and attendance at cultural events. Excursions to western Ireland and Northern Ireland will occur throughout the semester with students spending the majority of the time in Dublin living in apartments.

 


Ireland Spring 2017

Using Dublin as a base, students explore Ireland through the study of its history; literature; theater; and contemporary social, political and economic issues.  In addition to study at the Dublin Business School, students participate in community service projects.  The program also includes group travel to western Ireland and Northern Ireland.  Students will live in apartments.

Ireland Spring 2015

Focused in Dublin, the 20 students on the program concentrated on the history, literature, theater, and contemporary social issues of Ireland. An internship placement is given to each participant at a social welfare agency in Dublin. Excursions to western Ireland and Northern Ireland happen throughout the semester with students spending the majority of the time in Dublin living in apartments.
