- Core themes: LC’s core themes were devised in 2011 and reported to the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU), our institutional accrediting body. In theory, our general education curriculum should resonate with its core themes.

- Strategic plan: LC’s strategic plan for 2020, The Journey Forward (approved in 2012), includes three sections, “Where the Journey Has Brought Us,” “Steps On the Journey Forward,” and “Where the Journey Will Take Us,” all grounded on three key strategic goals.
