Hello…
My name is Robert Hoffman, Editor of the Northwestern Naturalist (NWN), official journal of the Society for Northwestern Vertebrate Biology. SNVB is the oldest scientific association in the Pacific Northwest devoted to the study of vertebrate biology, and NWN is the oldest peer-reviewed regional natural history journal in the PNW, first published in 1920 as the Murrelet.
I am emailing to provide you with information about the upcoming 2015 Annual Meeting of SNVB to be held in Portland, Oregon, February 24 – 27, at the Embassy Suites Downtown. The title of the meeting is “Defining a New Ecological Baseline: Pacific Northwest Fauna and Flora in the Anthropocene”. I think that the subject and talks to be presented at the meeting could be of interest to students in your program.
I have attached the meeting flyer that provides summary information about the meeting, and the SNVB website address where more detailed information, including meeting costs and schedule, can be accessed. The website also provides detailed information about SNVB.
Best Regards…
