We are hiring 15 Community Educators and 5 Team Leaders for the 2015-16 Academic-Year CELS Program.
CELS Community Educators are paid $9.50 an hour ($10.00 an hour for returning community educators) and work a total of five hours a week guiding a group of high school students through a community-based inquiry project. You can find the job posting and application here.
CELS Team Leaders are paid $9.50 an hour ($10.00 for returning CELS students) and work a total of 7.5 hours a week leading their peers and a group of high school students through a community-based inquiry project. You can find the application here.
We are looking for students who have a passion for teaching and experience working with youth from diverse backgrounds. Strong applicants also have a strong foundation in STEM fields and are able (and excited) to share this knowledge with a group of high school students. CurrentCELS participants are strongly encouraged to apply!
