Zenger Farm Interns and Volunteers

We are seeking interns and volunteers for our Summer Camps and Children’s Gardens at Zenger Farm. College students are encouraged to apply for the Summer Camp Internship or Summer Camp and Children’s Gardens Volunteer positions. These are great resume building opportunities to develop skills as an outdoor educator at a beautiful educational farm and experience hands-on activities at camp and in the garden this summer. Interns and volunteers receive farm fresh produce! We support our interns and volunteers with their future endeavors however we can.

Summer Camp Interns will work closely with Zenger Farm Education staff for a minimum of six weeks during the summer, either June to July and/or July to August.  Camp activities include gardening, crafting, cooking, and adventuring on our urban farm and wetland.  Learn more/Apply.

Summer Camp and Children’s Gardens Volunteers will assist with summer camp activities and maintenance of the Children’s Gardens.  Volunteers must commit to at least one month of camp, 5 to 20 hours a week; Summer Camp runs June 15-August 28th, 2015. Learn more/Apply.

Zenger Farm is a working urban farm that models, promotes and educates about sustainable food systems, environmental stewardship, community development and access to good food for all. Learn more about the farm.
