Outreach and Riparian Specialist Position

In Partnership with the Confluence Environmental Center, the Johnson Creek Watershed Council (JCWC) seeks a skilled and committed Outreach and Riparian Specialist (AmeriCorps) to engage diverse volunteers and advance streamside forest restoration along Johnson Creek and tributaries.  The Outreach and Riparian Specialist will design, implement, and maintain riparian restoration projects along Johnson Creek and tributaries under the supervision of the JCWC Riparian Program Manager, and will work closely with other staff to recruit and manage volunteers for restoration events.  Dates of service:  September 9, 2015 – July 29, 2016 (1700 hours – 11 months).  Full job description:  http://jcwc.org/jcwc-is-hiring/  To apply, or for more information, contact Noah Jenkins noah@jcwc.org or 503-652-7477.  Applications are due by Friday, July 3, 2015.
