Climate Corps (www.climatecorps-bayarea.org) is a bridge-to-career program that places young professionals within a host organization (a local government, nonprofit or for-profit,) to serve in a dedicated role for 10 months to focus on climate protection efforts. Apart from gaining valuable work experience, Climate Corps Fellows benefit from participating in a regional peer cohort and training program that is recognized through a professional certificate issued by our academic partner, Skyline College. This cycle we have 25 Fellows working on a broad array of projects, from environmental education in schools, to climate action programs for public agencies and corporations, to designing solar panel testing protocols for SunPower Corporation.
Climate Corps has been taking applicants for the 2015-16 cycle since March 1st and will be up until the end of July. We encourage you to consider these opportunities and please see the attached PDF for more information!
