Dear ENVS Community,
Today we are writing to introduce you to The Power Dialog 2016. Details are here, with a summary below. We are a team consisting of undergraduate students, graduate students, and advisors, working with professor Eban Goodstein who is the Director of the Bard Center for Environmental Policy.
On April 4th, 2016, The Power Dialog will support 10, 000 students to engage in face-to-face dialog with state-level regulators in all fifty states. The topic? Implementing the EPA’s Clean Power Plan, which requires 32% cuts in global warming pollution by 2030. How will it work? Hundreds of faculty will take their classes on coordinated field trips to their state capitols, where students will have the opportunity to advocate for their own futures.
