Greetings! I’m reaching out to you on behalf of the Media Institute for Social Change. We are currently recruiting for our 2016 Summer Documentary Program.
Each summer, the Media Institute hosts a group of college undergraduates to study public interest journalism in Portland, Oregon. It’s a documentary based program, by which students make their own audio and video projects that feature Portlanders working on local solutions to global issues. It is an opportunity to produce and exhibit original work, meet and network with industry professionals, and engage their academic curriculum in praxis with current sociopolitical issues in the community.
