Save the Giants is collaborating with Friends of Trees in organizing an urban tree advocacy workshop scheduled Friday November 4 from 5:30-8:30 pm.
Please join us for a dinner with speakers and the following workshop goals:
- Share rapid response strategies to save trees under threat
- Share tools for pro-active efforts to preserve healthy trees & expand the urban canopy in our communities
- Share history, revisions and strengths / weaknesses of Portland’s tree code
- Discuss opportunities to support future urban forestry policy reforms that incentivize or require preservation of large healthy trees
