Hi ENVS,
The L&C Law school is offering a class this summer that will be open to undergraduate students called Natural Resources Law & Science. It will be taught by one of the law school’s amazing faculty, Daniel Rohlf. The class will present an interdisciplinary overview of natural resources law and policy – which also explores the interaction between law and science – that is designed to accommodate undergrads, graduate students, and law students, as well as scientists and other professionals. The course will focus on law and policy surrounding land and ecosystem management in addition to biodiversity conservation and management. The class will also discuss the challenges inherent in integrating law, policy, and science to a common end. Finally, the course will highlight issues posed by both climate change and recent political change.
