Next Monday through Wednesday the 55th International Affairs Symposium occurs!
This year’s topic is population, covering all of the hot issues–from border control to refugee treatment to government reproduction intervention to city-based global order. A unique feature of the International Affairs Symposium is that every session is designed to highlight maximum controversy by pitting two opposing speakers against each other, with a Lewis & Clark faculty moderator whose role is to highlight the differences in perspective so that audience members are forced to use their critical thinking skills to form their own conclusions. Plenty of time is allowed at each session for audience questions, making this a very engrossing interactive experience.
Please consider attending this provocative event!
