Dear ENVS Students,
Although the selection of the IA Symposium student co-chairs is not yet complete, due to the impending end of the semester it is now time to invite students to apply to be on the twelve-person steering committee. This august group, along with the co-chairs, gets to determine the topic, the debates, and the speakers for next year’s event. The co-chairs will be selecting most of the steering committee before the end of this semester (with the remainder selected right after next fall’s Pio Fair to give entering freshmen and students overseas this semester a chance to participate).
The only requirements to be on the IA Symposium steering committee are (1) possessing passion about the International Affairs Symposium and (2) being a full-time on-campus student for the entire academic year next year.
The deadline for expressing interest to be on the steering committee is this Tuesday April 25th at noon. Please send by email an expression of interest to me, and I will forward it to the student co-chairs.
