ZMassociates, an environmental consulting firm that works with public and private clients to mindfully manage large scale environmental projects and empower organizational teams to encourage long term sustainable growth, is looking to hire a graduating senior as an entry level environmental science consultant, who meets the following criteria:
- Strong interest in solving technical environmental problems
- Strong computer skills (especially Excel, and Microsoft suite)
- Proven attention to detail
- Self-starter
- Quick learner
- Willing to work remote when needed
- Ability to travel if needed
- Good writer
- Willing to commit to stay in Portland area for minimum of two years
Responsibilities:
- Will perform computer modeling functions for toxic air pollutants.
- Will research details and organize model input and output data.
- Will prepare summary details on all steps of the work leading to project communications and reports.
- Will support senior modeler and senior consulting scientists.
Other Important Notes:
- Flexible with schedule and allow staff to continue with graduate education as long as we can work out schedules.
- Positions starts part time until we can determine right fit for selected person.
- Significant growth potential to right person, based on performance.
- Would like to fill this position within the next four weeks.
- There may also need another part time paid intern in June or July meeting the same criteria.
