Hello, my name is Brie Tripp and I am an Education Researcher at Portland State University (PSU) interested in the interdisciplinary nature of science. We are looking for volunteers to help out with this study. You can help by agreeing to participate in an online survey. The survey will not be a test of knowledge, rather, a simple tool to gather feedback on your perception of interdisciplinary science. The interdisciplinary science survey will take no longer than ~5-10 minutes of your time.
We are seeking input from undergraduate students, graduate students, post-docs, faculty, and staff at your institution. If you agree to participate your identity and responses will remain anonymous.
Please follow the link below to complete the survey by October 10th, 2017:

If this email does not pertain to you and/or your department but you know of another person and/or department that would be interested in participating – please send it along!
This study has been approved by the PSU IRB (#174219). If you have questions regarding your rights as a research participant, you may call the PSU Office for Research Integrity at (503) 725-2227 or 1(877) 480-4400. The ORI is the office that supports the PSU Institutional Review Board (IRB). The IRB is a group of people from PSU and the community who provide independent oversight of safety and ethical issues related to research involving human participants. For more information, you may access the IRB website: https://sites.google.com/a/pdx.edu/research/integrity. You may also contact me with any questions or concerns (tripp@pdx.edu) or the PI of this project, Dr. Erin Shortlidge (eshortlidge@pdx.edu).
We appreciate your willingness to participate, without your help this study would not be possible!
Best Regards,
Brie Tripp
