Greening Forward is a non-profit organization run by young people that works to improve the involvement of other young people in protecting our environment. We do this largely through hosting youth conferences and giving grants to student-led groups to do environmental projects.
This year, we have decided to expand our programs by holding an environmental blog contest. For this, we are asking students in college and high school to write environmental-related articles and send them in to us. Many of these articles will be featured on our own blog, and a few have the opportunity to win a cash prize. We believe that this contest will provide a great platform for younger people to write about issues that really matter to them, and give them an opportunity to connect with others who are passionate about the same thing.
