Knock Sniff is a play written, directed and acted by students that investigates the concept of truth. This show is the culmination of an ENVS thesis project and relevant to all. It will run Friday (March 16) and Saturday (March 17) at 7:30 PM in the Fir Acres Black Box. Come support your ENVS seniors!
From the creator of Knock Sniff:
“Knock Sniff responds to a changing mindset in this country over how we understand truth. From the beginning of this process I have been interested in the ways we perform truth, and how these performances relate to the fear that we, as a society, are losing track of what it means for something to be objectively true or false. We seem to be in the midst of a massive investigation right now that is failing to get to the bottom of what truth really means to us, and what its ramifications are in relation to climate change, political campaigns, and a whole host of other issues. Knock Sniff has become our own investigation into how we should navigate truth-seeking in a changing country and changing world- an investigation in which the performance of truth is amplified and crucially important.
SO, we encourage you to lean forward and look between the lines of facts versus belief, evidence versus emotion, and real versus fake. This is where you will find the performance of Knock Sniff, and hopefully the clues in your own investigation!”
