My project looks at the differing perspectives and attitudes towards ocean spaces between urban and coastal Oregonians in regards to Marine Reservers and Marine Protected Areas. I set out to look at the correlations and differences that may exist between or within these groups in order to help understand the ways in which we agree and disagree. This project acts as a sort of introduction an area that requires further research, data collection, and work in order to have a fuller understanding of the multi-dimensional factors at play here.
