The goal of this project was to understand rural and urban priorities in regards to environmental management, as well as understand the areas of flexibility and conflict regarding differing environmental views. By the end of the project, these goals were achieved. I was able to discover how a wide range of students approach varying environmental issues, as well as successfully engaging with those who have a different background via interviews. However, I was unable to successfully engage with the agricultural community, which led to a less diverse set of views being discovered. It would have been more of a success to engage with those specifically part of the agricultural community as most the Lewis and Clark community has very similar environmental views.
