As a fourth year environmental studies major, my interests have included place-based education, community resilience, social capital and networking, and disaster preparedness. I am currently writing a thesis on examining if social media can play a role in creating networks that set communities up for resilience before a natural disaster occurs.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling and experiencing new ideas and cultures that expand the boundaries of my comfort zone. I love hiking and being outdoors, and photographing everything I can along the way.
