Bibliographic resources on development include “Development Theory” (Willis 2015), “Industrialization” (Hayter 2015), “Geographies of Consumption” (Mansvelt 2015), “Regional Development” (Tomaney 2016), and “Consumption” (Szasz 2016). Willis (2015) is the most general and potentially useful, though students interested in what may be called overdevelopment should consult the resources on consumption.
